Boyfriend's* Jeans

I guess try hard to ignore the most obnoxious and ridiculously funny ladybug sunflower in the background. I know fashion blogging is all about the outfit, but that shits funny. Oh, and thats my boy Scoo, short for Scooby. He is a baby angel sent down from the heavens to our family, and I'm SO happy he was running around at the perfect moments because he's just the cutest. I would write an essay about him right now if I could but I doubt everyone wants to hear about it (even though you totally should).

Wearing: all of my boyfriends clothes. Except the shoes obviously, that would be weird. I took "boyfriend jeans" literal today, and wore my boyfriend's jeans. Not bad huh? The sweater is his too, super cute. The bad boys on my feet are a new addition to the closet, from Zara. LOVE.

Fancy my Funk?

When I dressed myself this morning my outfit was going toward the more funky side. [ Electric blue blazer/jacket, leopard maxi dress, awesome crop tee, and my Aldo boots. ] When it came to jewelry, I was kind of bummed because the normal thing would be to layer necklaces, add a lot of giant rings/bracelets - whatever. For a strange reason, I was feeling a little different and it lead me to mixing with more simple jewelry, like these beautiful teardrop earrings. Fancying your funk? Coolness.

Nylon

For those of you who've been following me for quite a while now, you would be familiar with the Hot Kiss photo shoot I did in Coney Island last summer. Getting a good start to my birthday/birthday weekend. Already ate a massive breakfast which was ideal, now playing outside in this beautiful weather before heading to NYC to take a midterm! So fun! Looking forward to this weekend - good friends, good food, white wine, and dance parties. Xo

Mixing Stripes

I just found this little skirt number in Forever 21, and after using it for the photo shoot yesterday I found it hard to take off. I love the black and white stripes, the length, and how comfortable it is. To switch things up a bit, I pulled out an old H&M top with similar stripes at the bottom and wrists and when put together looks like a dress. Hmm, so find matching or similar prints, and pair together. You might surprise yourself with the outcome.

70 Degree Weather

Sitting on the front stoop is usually limited during this time of year but the weather in NY is so fabulous right now I can't help myself from grabbing my sunnies, my new Aldo clutch [ similar style here ], Harper's Bazaar and soaking up some sun! Happy to be back from the studio after an awesome graphic/fun/neon photo shoot with @nicolettemilano. Cannot wait to review, and post! Good stuff to come!

Instagram | This Weekend

Instagram is my favorite app in the whole entire world, just saying. Captured some key moments of this weekends busy schedule. Friday was a full day photo shoot with Hot Kiss, running around the city & central park in floral prints, neons, and grunge denim was a shit ton of fun. Saturday was a visit to the Carlton Hotel to see my favorite person of all time. She even grabbed this gorgeous cropped and multi colored fur for me as a birthday present. I obviously couldn't wait two weeks to open it and I'm SO happy I didn't. Bell sleeves add to its awesomeness, I will post a better view as soon as possible. Xo

Color Block

Backyard sunbathing thanks to mother nature, wearing one of my favorite colorblock shell style tops from H&M. It has two hidden pockets, and looks super cute with just about anything. Since the weather has been so beautiful I decided to skip the jacket and wear a turtleneck underneath. Threw on my reds to finish off the look. There's nothing better than a good pair of reds.

Just incase you didn't know, Marni for H&M will be released worldwide on March 8th. If large polka dots in gorgeous color combos is your thang, then get there.
